About Me

My name is Ben Bogan and I was raised in Shaw, near Oldham. Many of my school years were spent at St Mary's, Shaw involved in sporting activities; either that or causing mischief. From an early age I took great pleasure in entertaining others, whether it be my classmates, teachers or family members.

My passion for sports extended into high school and it was after then that I became involved in 'school to school' football coaching. At such a young age, I realised the immense sense of wellbeing and personal gratification that can be gained through working with children-for all parties involved.

When I left school and went on an annual family holiday, it was only then that I took notice of the children's entertainment within the hotel. My new found passion encouraged me to apply for a job in childcare with Thomson Holiday's and I have never looked back.

I was based in Puerto Pollenca, a family resort in Majorca. I spent three amazing years there, two of which were spent as a childcare manager. The role saw me co-ordinating and managing a team of representatives whilst entertaining over 30,000 holiday makers. In 2005, my resort was voted 'best childcare venue and entertainment' and my team 'number one childcare unit in the world'; all within 'Thomson Holidays'. It was a major turning point in my career; I had managed to be part of such a remarkable achievement whilst doing something that I loved. I had found my passion and would ensure that it continued even when I had left Thomson. It was at this point that I made a decision to carry on alone; entertaining children at parties, school discos and events.

Fast forward a few years to 2017, March 8th and my little baby girl Summer was born. A turning point in my life becoming a very proud father. After entertaining children for over 15 years my time was here and I’m loving every minute of it.
